International Social Poster Exhibition
The collection aims to achieve a thought on the different subjects that are present in the Human Rights agenda. It’s an invitation to think about the issues in a different way, through the use of image and typography applied to a poster.
The exhibition was showcased in the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, the University of Toronto, the Embassy of Uruguay in Ottawa, the Warsaw University Library, the Consulate of Uruguay in New York and five cities across Uruguay.
Thanks to the commitment of the Uruguayan Embassy in Costa Rica to promote tolerance among nations, the collection is permanently on display at its office.
The project is part of The Uruguayan Plan for Human Rights Education and it was declared of Educational Interest by The Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay.
In addition to the exhibition, workshops were held where participants designed their own artworks. The goal of these activities was to complement the exhibit by providing a hands-on experience in poster design and fostering a space for the expression of concepts.
