An Uruguayan Archive of Visual Communication. We seek to value heritage by looking at the various proposals produced in Uruguay with the aim of understanding the behavior of design as a communicative channel and its connection to the environment.
Heritage is the valuation of past time. Knowing past visual communication will help us understand ourselves as a society. In other words, taking care of our assets is investing in the future.
It is inconceivable to think of a world without images. Visual communication is present in every image and text that we use daily to organize information. Its objective is to satisfy social needs, manage behaviors and maintain social order. In addition, it is linked to persuasion, which seeks to influence individual and collective behaviors.
