110 Years of UTE
The ephemeris are fundamental instances for the generation of highly significant communication because they are moments of memory and institutional strengthening.
The letters that identify the laboratory and substations inspired UTE (Uruguay’s government-owned power company) to make their 110th anniversary brand reflect the historical legacy through Art Deco.
The lettering was conceived inside the company’s general workshops at the beginning of the last century. Today, this urban gesture acquires the dimension of a byte by being digitized.
The company sought to honor its workers universally, the interest was to recognize avoiding singularities. UTE understands that teamwork from all areas allows Uruguayans to take advantage of electrical energy. The objective was achieved by representing an employee through a silhouette to become as general as possible.
